Making Christmas Puddings for me is all about tradition and keeping it alive. If my grandmother, Janet Lithgow was here today, l know she would be the proudest grandmother on the plant and that makes me happy. Gran was all about tradition. She would make our family puddings and the table was always set with silver cutlery, silver serving platters, silver salt and pepper shakers. So that’s where the “Silver” in Silver Penny Puddings comes from.
